We're excited to be working with an established provider who are opening a brand-new 4-bed children's home in Sittingbourne, Kent, supporting young people aged 8-18 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). We're now looking for a

passionate and motivated Deputy Home Manager

to join us at this early and exciting stage of our journey.

This role would be ideal for a

confident Senior Residential Support Worker

who's ready to take their

first step into management

, or someone with supervisory experience looking to grow in a supportive and professional environment.

About the Role

As Deputy Manager, you'll work closely with the Registered Manager to support the smooth running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance. You'll play a vital role in building a warm, nurturing environment that supports each young person to thrive.

Working Hours are Monday to Friday 0900-1700 each week.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Registered Manager in day-to-day operations Lead, mentor, and supervise the staff team Help develop individual care plans and risk assessments Ensure the home meets Ofsted requirements and provides outstanding care Be part of the on-call rota and cover shifts if required

What We're Looking For

Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) At least 2 years' experience in a residential childcare setting Strong leadership potential and a proactive attitude A passion for making a difference in young people's lives Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding best practice
