Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to support our Manager in overseeing our supported living projects focused on individuals with mental health problems transitioning from secure units. This vital role involves managing supported living houses, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for residents with challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing supported living projects and supervise staff providing care in shared accommodation. Conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of residents. Promote a positive and supportive environment for both residents and staff members. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and maintain high standards of care. Collaborate with the Manager to implement strategies for enhancing resident support. Foster a team-oriented approach, encouraging creativity and energy within the team. Provide training and support to staff to improve service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 3 years' experience working with individuals with mental health issues. Degree in Mental Health or NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) is required. Proven management experience, preferably as a registered manager or in a similar role. Strong understanding of CQC regulations and standards.
