Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager, paying up to 34,000 per annum, Full time.

We are looking for someone who has enthusiasm, drive and passion to deliver the very highest standards. Someone who is keen to learn and develop their skills and lead a solid team. You will work closely and support the nursery Manager and manage the nursery in their absence.

Key elements of the role include

:

- Supporting the Nursery Manager in the operation of the nursery - Ensuring that company safeguarding procedures are adhered to - Overseeing the Teaching and Learning programmes for the children - Show rounds of prospective parents - Managing the Nursery in the absence of the Manager - Ensuring that the nursery environment is kept to a high standard at all times - Coaching and mentoring the staff teams

Person Specification

To be successful in this role you will need:

Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years (Level 4 Desirable) Minimum 2 to 3 years as a RL/3rd in Charge or 1 year as a Deputy Manager. Early years management experience preferable ICT qualification preferable or very good knowledge of Microsoft applications Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted Early Education inspection Framework Passionate about working with children. A satisfactory enhanced DBS check which confirms suitability to work with children Commitment to diversity and equal opportunities Excellent communication skills Commitment to young children and families Friendly, flexible and positive approach Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative Good customer awareness
