We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to support our care-at-home and housing support services in Edinburgh. This is a part-time, on-site position ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality care and leading teams.
Responsibilities
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in care.
SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Level 4 or working towards desirable).
Strong knowledge of Scottish legislation, care standards, and SSSC Codes.
Experience in team management and service coordination.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Compassionate, committed, and professional approach.
Flexible working and on-call rota participation.
Full UK driving licence and vehicle access (desirable).
Qualifications
Assist Registered Manager with daily operations.
Supervise and support care staff.
Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards.
Oversee recruitment, induction, and training.
Conduct assessments and care planning.
Maintain accurate records.
Liaise with service users, families, and external professionals.
Foster a positive and safe care environment.
