Deputy Manager - Step Up and Lead the Way


Location:

B12 (Driving is essential)

Pay:

15.50 per hour

Sleep-in Pay:

70 per night

Shifts:

11 per month (usually 2-3 per week)

Typical Hours:

8am-8pm, including sleep-ins

Sleep-ins:

Average of 6 per month

Deputy Manager

, you'll be a steady hand and strong role model--offering direct care when needed, guiding the team, and keeping everything running smoothly when the Registered Manager is away.

What you'll be doing



Supporting young people with day-to-day life, emotional wellbeing, and independence Taking part in activities and experiences that help build confidence and trust Leading by example and supporting your team to deliver outstanding care Contributing to care planning and ensuring compliance is always top-notch Helping with recruitment and onboarding of new team members Taking on a key leadership role in the home and keeping standards consistently high

What you'll need



A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Experience supporting children or young people with EBD or similar needs A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce (or above) Willingness to work towards your Level 5 in Leadership (if you haven't already) A confident, calm and capable approach to leadership Excellent communication, organisation, and decision-making skills
