We are now seeking an experienced, passionate, and forward-thinking Deputy Nursery Manager to lead our dedicated team and continue to uphold our high standards of care and education.

The Role

As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of the nursery. You'll lead with vision and integrity, ensuring the Montessori principles are embedded throughout the setting, while also meeting all regulatory and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strong leadership and support to the team, promoting a collaborative and respectful culture Ensure the nursery delivers a high standard of care and education in line with the Montessori approach and the EYFS framework Manage occupancy, staffing, and resources efficiently Build positive relationships with children, families, staff, and the local community Oversee safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance with all statutory regulations Lead on recruitment, training, and development of staff Continuously evaluate and improve nursery practice and procedures

What We're Looking For:

Level 3 or above in Early Years Education and Childcare (Essential) Montessori qualification or strong understanding of Montessori practice (Desirable) Proven leadership experience within an early years setting In-depth knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding procedures Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills A calm, confident leader with a genuine passion for high-quality early years education
