Little Angels is a privately owned children's day nursery and out-of-school club located in Huddersfield. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for children from birth to high school age, accommodating up to 142 children with a focus on their development and well-being.

Summary

We are seeking a Deputy Manager to join our team at Little Angels. In this role, you will support the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of care and education are maintained. Your leadership will be vital in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our children.

Responsibilities

Assist the Nursery Manager in the overall management of the nursery. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of care. Supervise staff and support their professional development. Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual children's needs. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members. Manage daily operations, including scheduling and resource allocation. Promote a safe and engaging learning environment for all children.

Requirements

A minimum of NVQ level 3 in childcare or above At least two years experience in a childcare setting, ideally within a managerial role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with parents and colleagues. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
