We are looking for a Deputy Manager, who has strong operational leadership skills, great customer service experience and preferably some kitchen experience. This position is a live-in position.
Ship Inn Dymchurch is a family run Gastropub with five beautiful letting rooms. We have a great team, that works well together and prides themselves in delivering great customer service. We offer local products to our customers, serving breakfast for in house guest, lunch & dinner 7 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the General Manager in the day to day running of the business
- Customer Service to a high level
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the business
- Adhere to food safety and health & safety guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Being responsible of the business over night, when living in the building
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen role is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and Health & Safety Management Systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and school holidays
