About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated
Deputy Manager
to play a key leadership role in the daily operations of our children's home. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and experienced childcare professional ready to step into a leadership position and make a meaningful difference.
Working a consistent
Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
schedule, you will support staff and children in building a structured, caring environment that promotes growth, independence, and emotional wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the care team in delivering high-quality, child-centred care
Ensure consistency in implementing care plans and behaviour management strategies
Provide specialist support for children with EBD, SEMH, learning disabilities, and mental health needs
Facilitate educational, recreational, and therapeutic activities
Promote safeguarding and ensure compliance with Ofsted and regulatory standards
Support a positive, professional team culture with clear communication and collaboration
Qualifications and Experience
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) -
Required
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a residential children's care setting -
Required
Full UK Driving Licence -
Required
Strong interpersonal, organisational, and leadership skills
A calm, resilient, and compassionate approach to supporting children with complex needs
What We Offer

35,000 - 40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
