If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our friendly and supportive team!

We are looking for someone to work with our existing Deputy Manager to lead and inspire within our Nursery that is committed to providing quality care.

Your hours of work will be:

Monday - 8:00am-6:15pm

Tuesday - 11:30am-6:15pm

Wednesday - 8:00am-6:15pm

Thursday - 8:30am-6:15pm

Term time only.

Responsibilities will include:

- Working with and supporting the Manager and other Deputy Manager

- Leading and mentoring the team to deliver high quality early years education

- Being a role model and nurturing an environment of creativity and initiative

- Promoting the Curiosity Approach ethos

- Being responsible for key children

- Building strong partnerships with families

- Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that respects the unique needs of every child

You will need:

- A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare or above

- Extensive knowledge of safeguarding

- Robust knowledge of the EYFS

- Excellent organisation and communication skills

- The ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative

- The ability to manage your own time and prioritise tasks

There is also an opportunity to work at our 'Ofsted Outstanding' Holiday Club. Our Holiday Club is based at Deben Community Farm in Melton, where children have many opportunities including interacting with animals, exploring our wooded area or enjoying some craft activities. You must enjoy working outside and have an understanding of the Playwork Principles.

This post requires an Enhanced DBS check and two satisfactory references prior to commencement of employment.
