Key Responsibilities
Support the Home Manager in the overall running of the care home.
Lead, mentor, and inspire the care team to deliver person-centred care.
Engage with residents and their families to ensure care needs are fully understood and met.
Oversee clinical practices and ensure compliance with CQC standards.
Manage and develop staff through supervision, appraisals, and ongoing training.
Ensure safe medication management and high standards of record keeping.
Requirements
NMC Registered Nurse
(Adult / Mental Health / Learning Disabilities) with active PIN and no restrictions.
Proven
Deputy Manager experience in a nursing home
setting.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to provide high-quality, person-centred care.
In-depth knowledge of clinical governance, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
