Deputy Pre-School Manager
to lead one of our welcoming, Outstanding-rated settings.
In this key leadership role, you'll oversee the day-to-day organisation of the pre-school, ensuring high standards of care, education, safeguarding, and staff development. You'll be part of a collaborative and supportive team, working closely with the owners and practitioners to create an environment where children truly thrive.

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
Passionate about Early Years and committed to providing exceptional care and education
Experienced in leading and motivating a team in a preschool or nursery environment
A natural coach and mentor, able to support and develop others
Organised, proactive, and able to maintain high standards under pressure
Professional, approachable, and confident in working with staff and families alike
Requirements:
Minimum
Level 3 qualification
in Early Years (essential)
At least
2 years of experience
in a nursery or pre-school setting
Sound knowledge of
Safeguarding
and the current
EYFS Framework
Ability to lead planning, observations, and support children's development
Confident working in ratio while managing paperwork and leadership duties (non-contact time provided)
What You'll Be Doing:
This role is to support the manager in the organisation of setting and to ensure high standards of care, education, safety and well-being of children, their families and Pre-School staff at all times.
Supporting the manager in leading the team day-to-day and providing direction, support, and supervision
Supporting children's learning and well-being while maintaining a safe, fun environment
Working in partnership with parents and the wider team
Support with curriculum delivery, safeguarding practices, and daily operations
Contributing to policy development and continuous quality improvement
You will be counted in ratio during the week with allotted time for paperwork.
Note: You will not be responsible for admin such as invoicing, funding, or new registrations--our administration team handles that.*
