We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Deputy Manager RGN / RMN to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care and adherence to care plans.
Coordinate and oversee food preparation and meal services, ensuring nutritional needs are met with attention to food safety and hygiene standards.
Manage daily operations including shift management, staff scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize service delivery.
Conduct staff training, mentoring, and development programs to promote continuous improvement and team cohesion.
Oversee medication administration, documentation accuracy, and compliance with health regulations.
Maintain inventory control of medical supplies, food stocks, and equipment using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS where applicable.
Handle budgeting responsibilities, including cost control and financial reporting to ensure efficient management of resources.
Foster excellent customer service by engaging positively with residents, families, visitors, and staff alike.
Ensure strict adherence to food safety protocols during food handling, preparation, and service in both clinical and dining areas.
Support hospital or hospitality management practices by supervising kitchen operations, catering events, or banquet services as needed.
Qualifications
Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) qualification with current registration.
Proven management experience within a healthcare setting or hospitality environment such as quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining establishments.
Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising teams, staff training, interviewing, and performance management.
Knowledge of food preparation, food safety standards, and inventory control procedures.
Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Experience in managing budgets, food production processes, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
