Job Summary



We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD)

to join our team as a

Deputy Manager

at our well-regarded nursing home in Crewe. This is a key leadership role for a

Clinical Lead

or senior

Staff Nurse

ready to step up into management.

As a

Clinical Deputy Manager

, you will support the

Home Manager

in all aspects of service delivery, providing clinical oversight, leading staff, and ensuring the highest standards of

elderly care

Key Responsibilities



Provide strong

clinical

leadership and nursing oversight to the team of nurses and care staff. Support the

Home Manager

with day-to-day operations, staff management, and quality assurance. Conduct and complete audits, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with CQC standards. Manage, mentor, and support a team of

Staff Nurses

and care staff, promoting best practices. Work flexibly across a combination of nursing shifts and supernumerary hours to meet the needs of the home. Assist with occupancy management and lead nursing assessments for new residents. Deputise for the

Home Manager

in their absence, taking responsibility for the home's clinical and operational management.

Qualifications & Experience Required



Valid NMC PIN

as a

Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD)

. Proven experience in a senior

clinical

capacity, such as a

Deputy Manager

,

Clinical Lead

, or

Senior Staff Nurse

within a

nursing home

environment. Strong background in staff management, care planning, and clinical governance. Ability to work flexibly, combining hands-on nursing shifts with supernumerary management hours. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
