We are looking for a compassionate and experienced
Deputy Manager
to join our established four-bedded children's residential home in Uxbridge. Our home provides care and support for children and young people with
Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
and
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced childcare professional with strong leadership skills who is ready to take the next step in their career and make a lasting difference in young people's lives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and motivate a dedicated team of residential care workers.
Maintain high standards of care in line with Ofsted and safeguarding regulations.
Support children and young people with EBD, SEMH, and complex needs.
Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and daily home operations.
Ensure a safe, structured, and nurturing environment at all times.
Work collaboratively with families, social workers, and external professionals.
Support the coordination of education, recreational, and therapeutic activities.
Requirements
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) -
Essential

Minimum 2 years' experience in a residential childcare setting -
Required

Full UK driving licence -
Required
.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Empathetic, resilient, and committed to child-centred practice.
Sound understanding of safeguarding and regulatory frameworks.
