We are 3 day care settings in the NG8 area of Nottingham advertising to recruit an experienced Level 3 practitioner for the role of
Deputy Manager/ Room Leader
. This job opportunity is for our new setting opening in September this year.
Candidates must be passionate about childcare and the way children learn. You must be able to enhance children's learning in a dedicated, enthusiastic and committed way whilst enhancing your own CPD and maintaining the nurseries ethos, development and values.
Our nursery uniquely offers an incredible amount of support to our children. Imbedded into our curriculum we offer weekly Gymnastics, swimming, cooking, Outings, end of term Preschool Graduations and more.
We are a setting that values experience and highly qualified staff. In order to achieve this, we support staff members as much as possible to be the best they can be by way of training opportunities and job promotions. You will be working in the management team to lead the nursery and give a great representation of the company to the parent of the children within your room
The role includes but not limited to:
TEAM PLAYER!. Supports the Nursery Management structure ensuring the nursery maintains excellent standards
has well Manages the Nursery in the managers absents
Room leading a class of 25 children 2-5 years old has well guiding nursery nurses and trainees Structuring the room to provide meaningful and fun methods of play and learning
Have a keen understanding of the s I's and ensure this is implemented into each child's day. have EYFS knowledge.
Giving feedback to staff on their personal development
Providing relevant information to the parents of each child
Building bonds with the children and parents
Record keeping throughout the day and reporting key aspects of children's learning and care
Handling fees
Be able to work with nursery management systems on a PC
Must be highly motivated with a flexible attitude to your work
You understand health and safety regulations
Multitask with the ability to be observant and thorough
of respect and professionalism
understand customer service and can make sound judgement
