We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kids Club deputy manager to join our team. You will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children attending our kids' club facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, experience working with children, and excellent communication abilities. This position offers an opportunity to contribute positively to children's development while gaining valuable experience in childcare and early childhood education.
Responsibilities
Supervise and engage children in a variety of age-appropriate activities, ensuring their safety at all times
Organise and lead fun, educational programmes that promote socialisation and learning
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment within the kids' club area
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a positive experience for all
Manage daily attendance records and activity schedules
Assist with organising special events or themed activities as required
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Support the development of children through leadership and management of group activities

Requirements
Proven experience working with children, preferably within childcare, nursery, or early childhood education settings
Strong management and leadership skills to oversee activities and guide children effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards children
Childcare qualifications or relevant nursery experience are highly desirable
Valid driving licence is preferred for transportation responsibilities if necessary
Ability to work flexibly during designated hours, including weekends if required
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development
