Deputy Nurse Managerxc2xa323ph // xc2xa346,500+ Per annumFullt time, 39 hours + Per weekNewtownabbey, Northern IrelandWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Nurse Manager in the Newtownabbey area, The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to the elderly patients and be responsible for maintaining their physical and emotional well-being. Including supporting the Nurse Manager and adhering to RQIA standards for the home.Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent care and support to elderly patients, with a focus on maintaining their dignity, respect, and independence.
• Administer medication, monitor vital signs, and perform routine medical procedures as required.
• Develop care plans and manage patient care, ensuring that they are regularly reviewed and updated.
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families, helping them to cope with the challenges of aging and illness.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring that they are securely stored and confidential.
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations and guidelines are followed at all times.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
• Previous experience working in a nursing home
• Proven Deputy Manager experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative.
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
