We are recruiting for a new Deputy manager to job at our fantastic day nursery in West Reading. This new role will be a supernumerary role working across the nursery supporting the staff and the manager and with admin/office time .We are looking for a qualified and experienced early years practitioner with strong leadership. Someone who is confident to step up and run the nursery in the absence of the manager. Someone with good problem solving skills and a strong knowledge of the EYFS

Pine Rivers kindergarten is a family run, 43 place full day care nursery for children aged 12 weeks plus, established in 1971. Our dedicated team of passionate practitioners are looking to welcome an inspiring and motivated Deputy ready support our Manager to drive forward practice through a robust training, coaching and monitoring approach.

We are looking for:

Full and relevant level 3 qualification or above

Extensive knowledge of EYFS

Strong Safeguarding, child protection and SEND knowledge

Experience of developing a high performing team through motivation, coaching and training

Experience of participating in Ofsted inspections leading to a "Good" or "outstanding" outcome

Evidence of the ability to build strong parent partnerships

Ability to work in multi- disciplinary teams such as LA, Health, etc

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.90-15.60 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
