Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate deputy Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and childcare, with the ability to lead and inspire a team. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.

Responsibilities

Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that promote children's development and learning. Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance and training as needed. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication and collaboration. Monitor children's progress and well-being, addressing any concerns promptly. Maintain a safe and clean environment for children, adhering to health and safety guidelines. Manage resources effectively, including budgeting for supplies and equipment. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's reputation within the community.

Requirements

Proven experience in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development. Ability to drive initiatives that improve the quality of care provided at the nursery. Knowledge of current best practices in early childhood education is advantageous.
