We're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our friendly team in our

brand new setting

based in Fulham. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, brings a sense of fun to their day, and genuinely loves supporting children's development in a caring and engaging environment.

We are a well-established, family-run group of Montessori nurseries with over 30 years of experience providing exceptional childcare in London. Our setting is known for its warm, nurturing atmosphere, long-serving team, and strong reputation with both parents and local childcare professionals - and we would love a deputy manager who aligns with these values.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a dual role, combining time in the room, with leadership and administrative responsibilities as a part of your role as deputy. These responsibilities include:

Support and guide a passionate team of practitioners Mentor and train staff, promoting high standards of care and education Lead on observations, supervisions, and staff development Ensure compliance with all safeguarding and EYFS requirements Build strong relationships with parents and carers Contribute to planning and implementation of the Montessori curriculum Assist with nursery administration and day-to-day management

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone special! Someone who brings both professionalism and joy to their work:

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (or equivalent) Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements Proven leadership skills in a nursery setting A caring, compassionate approach to working with children A great communicator and a natural team player Organised, responsible, and full of positive energy Montessori experience is a plus, but not essential

Pay: 34,000.00-36,000.00 per year
