The successful candidate will work closely with the Nursery Manager to support daily operations, staff leadership, and the delivery of high-quality early years education in line with EYFS standards.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the pre-school
Lead, motivate, and support the staff team to deliver outstanding childcare
Ensure compliance with
EYFS
,
Ofsted
, and safeguarding requirements
Assist with staff supervision, training, and performance management
Support planning, observations, and assessments
Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
Act as Nursery Manager in their absence
Requirements
Level 3 Early Years qualification (Essential)
Minimum
2 years' experience
in an early years setting
Previous leadership or deputy experience preferred
Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week)
