The Role

As

Deputy Nursery Manager

, you will play a key role in supporting the Nursery Manager with both the day-to-day operations and long-term success of the setting. You'll lead by example, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children while maintaining high standards of care and education.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Early Years Practitioners Supporting the planning and delivery of an engaging

EYFS curriculum

Ensuring compliance with

Ofsted

health & safety

requirements Building strong, positive relationships with parents and carers Assisting with staff rotas, recruitment, and performance management Monitoring budgets and occupancy levels in partnership with the Nursery Manager Promoting a nurturing, child-centred culture that supports every child's individual needs

About You

We're looking for a confident, approachable, and proactive leader with a genuine passion for Early Years education and team development.

Requirements:

Minimum

Level 3 qualification

in Early Years (Level 4 or 5 desirable) Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a nursery setting Strong understanding of the
