STEMtacular Childcare is looking for an exceptional
Deputy Nursery Manager
to support the leadership of our innovative early years setting in
Saffron Walden
. This is a key leadership role where you'll combine strong EYFS practice with our inquiry-led,
STEM-rich approach,
helping to create a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment for children aged 0-5.
Working closely with the Nursery Manager and Regional Manager, you'll lead by example, support and develop a dedicated team, act as
Designated Safeguarding Lead
, and take operational responsibility for the nursery in the Manager's absence. You'll play an important role in embedding high-quality practice through the mentoring of staff, maintaining compliance, and building positive partnerships with families, professionals and the wider community.
If you have a minimum of three years post qualifying experience and you're a confident and reflective early years leader with a secure understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, staff development and nursery operations -- and you're excited by the opportunity to grow within a forward-thinking, values-driven organisation with a strong

The post-holder will lead by example, inspire high-quality practice, support and develop staff, and ensure children's safety, wellbeing and learning are central to all aspects of provision. In the absence of the Nursery Manager, the Deputy Manager will take day-to-day operational
responsibility
for the effective running of the nursery.
