Job Description

Willow Tree Nursery is looking for an experienced Level 3 Deputy to join our wonderful team on a full time basis, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday), our opening times are 8-6.

Are you passionate and enthusiastic with working with children across all areas of their development? Do you have a sound knowledge of the EYFS, and have the ability to plan inviting activities for the children that meets our curriculum? Are you looking for the next step in your career? The Deputy Manager will oversee our Under 2's unit alongside the team and support the Nursery Manager on the day to day running of the nursery.

To be considered for the role, you must have:

Level 3 or above childcare qualification that is relevant in Early Years. A good understanding of EYFS Leadership/ management experience Excellent communication skills Ability to use your own initiative Your passion to be shown in your day to day interaction with the children Experience with SEND responsibilities
Things you need to know

This position is subject to an enhanced DBS certificate and two satisfactory employment references. All staff must enroll to the update service. Successful candidate will be required to undertake online safeguarding training, which is refreshed yearly.
As part of your day to day role (list is not exhaustive)

assist manager in day to day running of the nursery. Embedding policies and procedures into practice work as a team Effective role modelling to the team with a specific focus on Quality of Teaching. parent partnership working Take on the role of SENDCO Take on other roles as deemed appropriate, i.e Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
