Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our client's nursery team in the UK. Based in , this role is vital in ensuring high standards of care and education for children while supporting nursery staff. The Deputy Manager will play a key part in fostering a nurturing environment aligned with our client's values.

Responsibilities

Support the Nursery Manager in daily operations and staff management. Assist in planning and implementing educational programs for children. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies. Lead and motivate nursery staff to deliver exceptional care. Maintain strong relationships with parents and guardians. Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided. Contribute to staff training and development initiatives. Support the overall management of the nursery to ensure smooth functioning.

Experience Required

Proven management experience within a nursery or early childhood setting. Strong leadership and communication skills. Experience working directly with children and understanding their developmental needs. Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health & safety regulations. Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., Level 3 Childcare or equivalent). Valid driving license is preferred but not essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. Passion for early childhood education and child development.
