Outreach sessions in the community, offering respite to foster carers/parents.

Family time contact supervision

Supervision within families' homes

'Around the Clock' supervision within the family home

Specialist parenting programmes

We are looking for a deputy manager to join our fast-paced team. The perfect candidate would have:



- Family Support work experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Crisis management skills, and ability to support staff with any safeguarding concerns/incidents

- Experience liaising with external professionals

- Driving licence and business insurance

- MUST be enrolled on the DBS Update system

- Flexible availability

As a manager you will be responsible for supporting the management team in delivering high quality care and support to children and young people. Your role will involve overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing leadership to the family support team.

Key Responsibilities:



Support the Manager in the daily operations of the service. Ensure high standards of care and support are maintained. Develop and implement policies and procedures. Lead, mentor and supervise a team of support workers. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards. Manage staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels. Conduct staff appraisals and identify training needs. Liaise with external agencies and professionals. Handle safeguarding issues and ensure the safety of all children. On Call/Duty manager - forms part of this role. Quality assurance of observation reports and managing them in a timely manner. People management experience required, including delivery of supervisions, leading meetings and recruitment/inductions.

Requirements:



Must hold a Level 5 qualification in Children's Workforce (or equivalent) or be willing to be enrolled in a Level 5 program. Strong understanding of child development and safeguarding practices. Excellent leadership and organisational skills. Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends if required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.

Pay: Up to 35,000.00 per year
