About the role


------------------


The Deputy Print Manager will be part of B-media, a team that delivers specialist media services across the Bartlett School of Architecture. The post-holder will support the delivery of high-quality printing, scanning, and finishing services across multiple sites, with a focus on technical excellence, responsive support, and student experience. They will maintain equipment and consumables, coordinate inter-site transfers and contribute proactively to Health & Safety culture. The role will also involve supervising temporary staff, updating public-facing content, producing instructional materials, and supporting procurement processes and promotional activities.

About you

The successful candidate will bring substantial experience with print technologies, including colour management, finishing techniques, and the delivery of services in a creative or educational setting. They will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a strong commitment to customer service. They will have supported and advised students and staff, promoted safe working practices, and ensured that equipment is maintained to a high standard. Familiarity with procurement systems and experience with print-adjacent technologies will be highly beneficial.
