We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to oversee daily operations within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the culinary arts, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and production. This role is crucial in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring smooth operations across all departments.

Responsibilities



Supervise and coordinate daily activities within the kitchen and front-of-house areas, ensuring efficient workflow. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations. Assist in food production, ensuring quality and presentation meet our culinary standards. Provide leadership and support to kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and collaboration. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain operational efficiency. Train new staff members on procedures, safety protocols, and best practices in food handling. Collaborate with bartending staff to ensure a seamless service experience for guests.

Experience



Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the food industry is essential. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Culinary experience is highly desirable, with skills in cooking and kitchen operations. Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams effectively. Experience in bartending is an advantage but not mandatory. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers.
