We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the hospitality industry and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service. This role involves supporting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that our guests receive an outstanding dining experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires the candidate to work multi site. As our assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a huge part in ensuring standards are maintained and the team is up to date with training.

Duties

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction. Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development. Oversee food production processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards. Help create and implement menus in collaboration with the culinary team, focusing on innovative dishes that delight our guests. Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock while minimising waste. Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience for all patrons. Assist in bartending duties as required, providing excellent beverage service to guests. Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager in staff scheduling and performance evaluations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production is essential. Culinary skills or experience in food preparation is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is beneficial but not mandatory.
