Retail Salary Scale: 14,235 for 21 hours per week
Due to internal progression, we have an opportunity for you to join the team at our successful Weldmar charity shop in Wareham, as a part-time Deputy Shop Manager.
We're looking for someone who is friendly and confident, because everyone who comes through the door, whether it's to shop or donate goods, should have a positive experience so that they'll make Weldmar their charity shop of choice in future.
No two days are the same in our shops and you'll have the ability to prioritise a range of tasks, be a great team player. You would need to be flexible and willing to take a hands on approach with all tasks, leading by example. As part of the management team, you'll also be expected to undertake financial and administrative tasks, and lead and motivate staff and volunteers.
You might want the opportunity to develop your existing retail or customer service supervisory experience, or just be looking to put your experience to good use in a popular local charity shop. You may be asked to work flexibly to cover annual leave and sickness at other times.

Rated Outstanding by the CQC, Weldmar Hospicecare provides specialist care to adults in Dorset with a life limiting illness, and support to their loved ones. This care is given in the comfort of patients' own homes, in the community, and at our Inpatient Unit in Dorchester. All care is provided free of charge and mainly funded by the continued support of our local community, via fundraising initiatives and events, our retail chain, and gifts left in wills, enabling us to raise the 27,500 we need every day to keep our services going.
