Deputy Ward Manager
Job Description
Our client is looking for a Deputy Ward Manager for a medical ward based in Central London, and the role comes with an excellent salary of up to \xc2\xa350,000 per year and benefits package.
As a Deputy Ward Manager for the medical ward, you will assist in the planning and the delivery of individualised, safe, effective and evidence-based patient care. You will also ensure the provision of a welcoming, caring and safe environment for patients and their families. The successful candidate will join the management team and undertake shift-leading responsibility on a regular basis.
To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of individualised, safe, effective and evidence-based patient care
- Participate in the efficient operational management of the department and undertake shift leading responsibility on a regular basis
- Deputise for the Ward Manager
- Undertake tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Manager
- A post-registration qualification in stroke or acute medicine or demonstrate relevant experience and competency in one of the ward\xe2\x80\x99s specialties
- Experience in shift management and leading a team
- Evidence of ongoing training and commitment to development
