\xef\xbb\xbfAs a Derivatives Trading Services Associate, you will lead a team who serves as a vital team for the front office and client-facing stakeholders. You\'ll act as the liaison between the business, technology, control partners, and operations. You will also develop an in-depth understanding of OTC Derivative asset classes (Foreign Exchange, Equities, Fixed-Income, Interest Rate Swaps, Credit Default Swaps and Commodities) and Listed Derivative and process flow.

Your role includes the investigation of enquiries, monitoring trade execution flows, trade reconciliations, and the fundamental understanding of our trading platforms and systems. Candidates must be able to provide and communicate solutions (in person, by phone, and by email) in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Job responsibilities

  • Manages the day to day activity of the team
  • Manages the performance of the team member
  • Captures trades of all OTC and Listed Derivative trades for all asset classes including FX, Equity, Fixed-Income, Interest Rate Swaps, Credit Default Swaps and Commodities
  • Processes of mid-life events linked to Derivatives transactions including unwinds, knock events, expiries, assignments, exercises, interim swap payments and corporate actions
  • Performs reconciliations vs the counterparty positions
  • Manages collateral requirements through processing stock pledges and cash payments
  • Monitors ongoing support needs to address changes and gap
  • Drives continuous improvement efforts, while reducing risk across all touch-points in the trade path
  • Ensures the accurate and timely escalation and resolution of all inquiries
  • Addresses ad hoc queries from operations, technology, and the front office
  • Facilitates training for new application users
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Knowledge of Derivatives and Operations experience will be an advantage
  • Team supervision experience will be an advantage
  • Bachelor\'s degree
  • In-depth knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet technologies
  • Highly disciplined, a self-starter, and the ability to execute on assignments independently
  • A team player who demonstrates work ethic and consistently demonstrates a high-level of professionalism
  • Attention to detail with superior written, verbal, and problem-solving skills as well as excellent organizational and time management skills
