We are seeking an RVN with a keen interest in Dermatology to assist our fantastic team with the case load in our busy dermatology clinic. The right candidate will be a proactive, organised RVN with an interest in dermatology cases and their workup. They will work closely with the Dermatology Veterinary Surgeon with a varied and busy caseload, assisting in the workup of new cases and support of ongoing cases.

About us:

Rutland House is a very busy, RCVS accredited first opinion and referral practice with a team of 20 vets and 50 nurses at the main hospital. We also have 9 branches in the surrounding area. We have an amazing team of nursing staff including ACA's, SVN's, RVN's and Diploma holding RVN's.



We are based close to two international airports (Manchester & Liverpool) both within 30mins drive. We are also close to the Lake district and coast as well as beautiful North Wales for those wanting a more rural relaxed life as well as being very close to the vibrant cities of Liverpool and Manchester.

The Role:

The role will involve, but is not limited to, organising the dermatology department, ordering of stock, maintenance of equipment, inpatient care of Dermatology day patients, General anaesthesia, performing specific laboratory tests, and be involved in training members of the nursing team in this area.

Hours:

The role will be 41.6 hours Monday-Sunday including the weekend rota below. 1 weekend in 5 (this will be a Saturday or a Sunday and will be assisting with the daily running of the hospital. This will include wards, dispensary and theatre) Min 1 bank holiday per year (Bank holidays are double time and a day off in lieu) No OOH - we have a fantastic OOH team but there is availability to pick up extra shifts if wanted.

Salary is dependent on experience.
