I'm delighted to be working on behalf of a well-established and creative client who is currently looking to recruit a
Design Administrator
to join their growing team.
Based in a fast-paced design environment, this role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing order and organisation to the creative process. You'll be the key support to the Design team, helping ensure that projects stay on track, timelines are maintained, and all the essential details are captured and managed with care.
This is a great fit for someone who's comfortable working with spreadsheets and data, but who also enjoys being part of a collaborative and imaginative environment.
About the Role
The Design Administrator will work closely with the Head of Design, taking responsibility for the administrative and coordination tasks that support the day-to-day running of the team. From managing critical paths and specification sheets to liaising with other departments and supporting sample management, you'll be right at the centre of the action.
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain accurate specification sheets for manufacturing partners
Manage design timelines and critical paths, helping the team meet deadlines
Maintain and update data across Excel spreadsheets and internal systems
Assist with general department admin, including filing, document prep, and printing
Prepare materials for internal meetings and product handovers
Coordinate with other departments on cross-functional tasks
Handle physical samples where needed - labelling, steaming, and occasional garment care
Support the team by staying one step ahead and keeping everything running smoothly

Organised, methodical, and able to juggle multiple priorities
Experienced with Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level preferred)
Detail-oriented with high standards of accuracy
Calm, confident, and reliable under pressure
A strong communicator who enjoys working with others
Practical, hands-on, and happy to pitch in where needed
Able to bring a sense of calm and structure to a busy, creative environment
Experience & Background
Previous experience in an administrative or team support role
Familiarity with design, production, or fashion environments is a plus, but not essential
This role would suit either an ambitious junior looking to grow or a more experienced professional seeking a steady, fulfilling position
