Job Description

Role

We are looking for a Design and Development Engineer to join our team in developing the next generation of NGPod products.

- Play a key role in developing innovative medical technology products.

- Join a growing company during an exciting expansion of product development and roll-out.

- Develop products that make a real difference to patient health - improving safety, accelerating recovery.

Skills and Responsibilities

- good engineering competency for mechanical and electronic design

- understanding of product design and development process

- design for manufacture

- good communication and project management skills

- manage product development process and meet regulatory documentation requirements

- management of some outsourced design/development

- management of suppliers for prototype parts, production parts

- design verification and validation activity

- manufacturing set-up and QA procedures

- oversee introduction of products in collaboration with the project team and management team

- hands-on technical ability - mechanical build, electronic test

- useful software skills: mechanical CAD, electronic CAD, microprocessor code, Labview, database, project management

Qualifications, Experience

Engineering or scientific degree

Preferably at least 2 years experience within a design/development environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-45,000.00 per year
