We are seeking a Design and Marketing Apprentice to join our team at Ascot International (1996) Ltd., a recognized name in the personal care industry. This apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to develop your creative and marketing skills while gaining hands-on experience in the personal care sector. As part of the marketing team, you will assist with creating marketing materials, developing campaigns, and supporting content creation efforts, all while learning about the unique challenges and strategies in marketing personal care products.

Apprenticeship Summary:



Salary: 7.55 an hour Level 3 Multi-channel Marketer Apprenticeship standard qualification Location: Ascot House, Welcroft St, Stockport SK1 3DF Job type: Full time

Key Responsibilities:



Graphic Design Support:

Assist in designing marketing materials, including brochures, product catalogues, packaging, social media graphics, email templates, and point-of-sale displays, ensuring alignment with the brand's identity.

Campaign Execution:

Help execute marketing campaigns that highlight our personal care products, supporting activities across various channels, including social media, email marketing, and print.

Content Creation:

Contribute to the creation of engaging written and visual content for marketing platforms such as social media, websites, newsletters, and blog posts, focusing on personal care products and trends.

Social Media Management:

Support the day-to-day management of social media accounts by creating engaging posts, scheduling content, and interacting with customers and followers to drive brand awareness.

Product Photography & Editing:

Assist with the photography and editing of product images for promotional materials, online platforms, and e-commerce sites.

Brand Consistency:

Ensure that all marketing collateral adheres to the company's brand guidelines and supports a cohesive look and feel across all channels.

Market Research:

Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour in the personal care industry to assist with campaign strategy and content creation.

Reporting & Analytics:

Track and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and content, preparing reports to share insights with the team.

Administrative Support:

Assist the marketing team with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing project timelines, and coordinating campaign materials.

Key Requirements:



No formal experience required, but a passion for personal care products, design, and marketing is essential. A basic understanding of design software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign, is preferred, but not mandatory. A creative mindset with an eye for detail and design aesthetics, especially in the personal care industry. Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for different marketing channels. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in both design and marketing aspects. A keen interest in personal care trends, beauty products, and the lifestyle industry.

Preferred Qualifications:



Experience in one or more of the following industries: Personal Care, Industrial, or Health & Nutrition. Track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth. Existing network of industry contacts and relationships.

Training to be provided:




Training for this qualification will be provided by ourselves at SCCU Group, an Ofsted good training provider. Our tuition is all delivered in the workplace and bespoke to your particular role. Dependent on the learner's prior knowledge.

Multi-Channel Marketing Level 3 standard, 18 months practical with an additional 3 months End Point Assessment period. Functional Skills in Maths, and English (if required).
