We are seeking a hard working Design and Showroom Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support the design department by assisting with various tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This role requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a willingness to occasionally work away from home.
Duties
Work across all design functions: product samples, visual merchandising, show room, trade shows and Photography.
Management of unpacking and recording product samples.
Communicate effectively with team members to understand project requirements.
Showroom build and merchandising - this will involve painting and visually merchandising product.
Showroom/Hospitality upkeep and customer care.
Co-ordinate photography of samples.
Co-ordinate refreshing the photography studio (room set re-paint).
Attending Trade shows for set up and break down.
Assist the Creative Manager and Product Co-Ordinator with administrative duties.
Requirements
A 'can do' attitude.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Hard working.
Willingness to learn.
Work as part of a team or independently.
Willing to occasionally work away from home.
Full driving license
Experience of working in a design or marketing department would be an advantage.
Desirable:
Some Photographic experience.
Visual Merchandising experience.
Hospitality experience.
Knowledge of working with Excel and Word.
