Design and Technology Technician

36 hours per week term time only. 8.30am - 4.15pm (with a 30 minute unpaid break built in)
Scale H4 (29,346 per annum, which pro rata is 25,099.63) or H3 (28,521 per annum, which pro rata is 24,394) depending on experience.

Required for a September start, an enthusiastic and committed person to support and work within a busy and exciting Design and Technology department. The tasks include preparation of materials, maintaining equipment, assisting students and maintaining high health and safety standards.

About you:

Candidates will need to be proactive, organised, tidy and a good communicator. We are looking for applicants who have qualifications and an interest in Design and Technology. If you have knowledge and experience of CAD/CAM it would be of benefit, as the school is well supplied with cutting edge technology in this field. Specific experience within a school is highly desirable, but not essential as full training will be given.
