Design Draughts Person

Stair Group Ltd are a specialist Design & Manufacturing company based in Norfolk, we are working with domestic & Commercial clients across the UK to design, manufacture & Install bespoke high spec Staircases, Architectural metalwork, Bespoke outdoor living furniture and structures along with Structural Steelwork products. Due to continued growth we are looking for the right person to join our design department.

Job Overview

Working with SolidWorks to design bespoke Staircases, Balustrades, Balconies, outdoor structures and various other bespoke items into detailed drawings to present to clients, architects and contractors along with producing manufacturing drawings for production, also producing 3D models.

Liaising with the project Management team & production to see projects through the Design & manufacture process to installation.

Responsibilities and Duties

Production of accurate manufacturing drawings.
Production of full assembly drawings & parts lists from manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks
Modifications and revision of design drawings.
Aid production with troubleshooting and design improvements.

Qualifications/Experience

Experience in drawing office methods & practices combined with previous Architectural, structural steel work or joinery are a advantage.
Good all round knowledge of 2D/3D CAD systems as well as Microsoft Office.
Experience with SolidWorks / SolidWorks PDM or similar CAD software.
Ability to work on your own as part of a small experienced team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
