Role Overview

We're looking for a Design Engineer to join our product development team. This role is open to candidates ranging from graduate engineers looking to grow, to experienced engineers ready to take ownership of complex designs and projects.

You'll be involved in the design and delivery of modular gym equipment and functional fitness products, working closely with project management, sales, and manufacturing teams. The scope of responsibility will be aligned to your experience, with clear opportunities to grow or lead.

Key Responsibilities

(Responsibility level will scale with experience)

? Design and develop modular gym equipment and custom fitness solutions

? Produce and maintain CAD models, manufacturing drawings, and technical documentation

? Support prototyping, testing, and transition from concept to production

? Work closely with manufacturing to ensure designs are robust, cost-effective, and manufacturable

? Contribute to continuous improvement of existing products

? Collaborate with project managers and sales to translate customer requirements into engineered solutions

? Review and support visualisations, renders, and design approvals

At a senior level, you may also:

? Lead projects from concept through production

? Make key design and technical decisions

? Mentor junior engineers and review their work

? Drive design standards and best practices across the team

What You'll Need

? Experience in a product design or manufacturing engineering role (level dependent)

? Proficiency in SolidWorks

? Ability to produce clear, accurate technical drawings

? Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

? Comfortable working with cross-functional teams

? Full driving licence

Nice to Have

? Experience with structural steel, fabrication, welding, or modular systems

? Familiarity with fitness equipment or performance-focused design

? Understanding of manufacturing constraints and cost drivers

? Interest in fitness, human performance, or tactical environments

30,000 to 40,000 (Dependant on experience level)
