The role
As a Quality and Assurance Engineer, you\'ll have a role that\'s out of the ordinary. You\'ll lead the creation of a new quality assurance environment for a disruptive manufacturing technology.

Day to day, you\'ll investigate, create, and develop processes for use within the AM team (application management). This will be for a variety of functions.

• Write formal processes and process maps that are compliant with the Land Defence QMS (quality management system).
• Lead audits and quality assurance activities within the AM team.
• Interact with the wider quality organisation, within Land Defence and the wider Babcock group.
• Interact with the authority via multiple routes including direct conversation, meetings, workshops, TQNs (total quality network) and digital communication.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Andover with travel required to various sites (milage paid).

Essential experience of the Quality and Assurance Engineer:

• Previous quality role experience
• Experienced in writing processes
• Problem solver
• Ability to work on own or as part of a team

Qualifications for the Quality and Assurance Engineer:

• Degree level qualified within an engineering discipline

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
