Through continued and record breaking growth, we are investing further into new product development and therefore looking to recruit a

DESIGN ENGINEERING MANAGER (Product Development)

to join our award winning Product Team.



Responsible for products such as Pushchairs, Highchairs and Nursery Equipment we are a close knit team of talented engineers and designers, we are looking for new talent leader to move the dial, so we can expand our product portfolio and refine our existing products.



Reporting directly to the Product Director key elements of this role will include.

Technical Leadership, Review & Validation

- Steering the engineering process from design to production including factory visits

Team Management & development

- Leading, developing and mentoring a team of inhouse design & mechanical engineers

Project & Process Oversight

- manage project timelines & resource allocation

Strategic Input

- participate in roadmap planning & define technical strategy

Communication & Stakeholder Management

- communicate design status, risks & mitigation plans to leadership

Focus on mechanical engineering principles, moving parts.*

NOTE: This role is full time, 5 days a week, with 3 days based at our Huddersfield Head Office (HD5 0RH) with 2 from home. (Hybrid working)
