Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the estimating team working on commercial projects within the South Central region. The successful candidate will have significant design experience and be competent designing bearing piles, tension piles laterally loaded piles and retaining walls.

The individual will assist in the management of incoming piling enquiries, including assessment of opportunities and allocation of tenders/designs and includes estimating, tendering and client interaction / negotiation to the point where orders are secured, and provide ongoing support throughout the life of a project if required.

You must hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or another relevant subject as a minimum required, with an MSc and Chartered Engineer status being preferable.

You will also act as a mentor to the junior members of the team and help with their training and development. There will be some work providing support dealing with site issues as and when these arise. This includes contract redesigns, rectification of design issues and liaising with external approving authorities and Engineers if required.
