Description





As a senior member of the Marketing Team, the Design Lead will lead a team of in-house designers alongside external resource. They will influence and contribute to global strategic projects both within the Marketing Team and throughout the business. They are experienced in communicating with senior stakeholders and working cross functionally. The team is going through a period of change following significant growth, this role will be responsible for transforming the function to adopt new techniques and technologies that optimise global efficiency and effectiveness in delivering creative solutions.

Our Design Lead is responsible for the CFC brand and visual identity. They act as a group-wide brand ambassador and advocate for consistent and high-quality creative across the business.###

About the role





Lead and mentor a design team of three plus external resources, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development support. Evaluate team performance, set development goals, and foster a growth-oriented environment. Collaborate with stakeholders to assess design needs, prioritize strategically, and allocate team focus for maximum impact. Oversee the creative process to ensure high-quality, brand-aligned visual outputs; promote best practices and a user-focused approach. Drive the evolution and consistent application of the CFC brand across regions, products, teams, and marketing channels. Lead brand development for all entities within the wider CFC group. Promote brand consistency across the business through training, onboarding materials, and internal engagement initiatives. Monitor design trends and competitor activity to keep the brand fresh and competitive. Manage design budgets and resources to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery.

About you





The Design Lead opportunity will suit candidates with at least 5 years' experience leading design teams in global organisation as well as experience as a multi-disciplinary graphic designer.

You will have experience in leading a design team equipped to support a fast-growing, global business. Confident in identifying and implementing appropriate tools and methods to optimise design resources, building on existing workflows and processes.




You'll be a creative thinker with expertise in brand identity and art direction with a good technical understanding of creative design, editorial, typography, digital design, social media, web design, event design, motion graphics. You must be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma and Microsoft Office software.
