experienced Design Manager

to lead on

Architectural & Facades packages

- a role central to the technical success of this flagship programme.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Design Manager, you will:


Lead the coordination and assurance of

architectural and facade design packages

, ensuring compliance, safety, and technical excellence. Oversee design information from early stages through to construction and handover, ensuring buildability, performance, and maintainability. Collaborate with world-class architects, consultants, and supply chain partners on one of the UK's most complex laboratory projects. Drive design quality and innovation while managing risk, statutory compliance, and change control.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Proven experience as a

Design Manager in complex architectural and facade delivery

.

Laboratories project experience - essential.

Animal health / high-containment laboratories experience - highly advantageous.

A degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related construction discipline (Chartered status desirable). Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, problem-solve and deliver under pressure.
