You'll

be responsible for

:

Providing project level design assistance and guidance to project delivery teams where required. Providing design governance to agreed projects, assessing compliance with the bank's global standards. Tracking design governance progress and compliance status through reporting mechanisms. Identifying deviations from bank's designs standards and manage review with required stakeholders. Manage and track deviations through agreed mechanisms. Providing guidance in the development of local variants of design standards or specific elements including documenting any local design standards. Liaising with all necessary global stakeholders, to ensure approval of local variants to designs. Feeding into the design comms plan by sharing design successes, key learnings and market knowledge/insights.

You'll

need to have:

A degree in architecture, or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent. Extensive professional design management experience. Ideally commercial/private sector experience, working with clients in the banking/finance sector would be highly valued.

You'll

also have:

Membership of ARB, RIBA or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development. Depth of experience of managing relationships with many key senior stakeholders. Extensive experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes through all stages. Extensive knowledge of statutory regulations, in particular building regulations, fire regulations, planning and listed building consent. Extensive experience working with statutory utility bodies. Leadership and management and experience of large, diverse teams. Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
