SDDS are looking for an experienced Design Manager with a joinery background and experience managing door packages.
You'll manage door packages from the get go, immediately becoming a big player in our small but mighty new office, having a real impact on our growth strategy and helping us shape how SDDS is run.
It's an exciting time to join SDDS...
We're a young and growing company working primarily in the high-end commercial fitout sector, and fortunate to work on prodigious projects with industry-leading clients, contractors and architects.
Our existing clients have more door packages than we currently have the resource to take on, and having recently appointed an in-house designer, we now need the right person to join our team as design manager, running projects to help us keep up with demand from existing clients while expanding our client base in line with our growth plan.
Join us and you won't be just another Design Manager, you'll be a key part of the team helping to drive SDDS forwards.
What makes SDDS different?
We do door packages right, but more than that, we want to be a business that does things differently...
From
early finish Fridays
(yes, 2.30pm finish every Friday!), to
flexible/hybrid working
(once trust has been built and training completed), to a
modern office space with free parking and a fantastic vibe
(on site cafe, pool table, showers, kitchen facilities etc), we want the SDDS team to deliver projects to be proud of while enjoying that elusive work life balance...
But why doors?
We get it, door packages have a bit of a reputation for being challenging. At SDDS we love a challenge, and thrive on getting right into the weeds to achieve that higher level of coordination required.
With our unique background in the joinery, construction and most importantly door manufacture industries, we have a rare insight into construction fit-out door packages. Join us, and become one of the few experts in this field.
