Job Overview:


We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Design & Technical Trainee to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a passion for construction, design, and the built environment who is looking to kick-start a career in property development. You'll gain hands-on experience supporting the design and technical delivery of our development projects, working alongside experienced professionals across various project stages.

Key Responsibilities:



Support the Design & Technical team with preparation and coordination of technical drawings and specifications. Assist in reviewing architectural and engineering plans to ensure accuracy and compliance. Help manage project documentation and drawing registers. Contribute to planning applications, construction packages, and project coordination. Liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal departments. Attend site visits and meetings to support the technical delivery of live projects. Conduct research on construction materials, methods, and regulations. Maintain digital records and assist with tracking design-related information.

Required Skills and Qualifications:



A keen interest in construction and Quantity Surveying. Achieve 5 GSCE's or equivalent. Grade 4 or above (including English and Maths). Achieve 2 A Levels Grade C or above, or equivalent (BTEC or T Levels). A full UK driving license (or ability to travel to various sites, if necessary). Interest in property development, architecture, or construction. Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Good computer skills Strong communication and organisational skills. A proactive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:



A relevant qualification in construction or a related field (e.g., studying towards a degree, HNC, or equivalent) is desirable, but not essential.

Previous experience or an internship in the construction industry is a plus.

Familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp) is a bonus but not essential.
