Key Responsibilities:

?????o?????Interpret Design Concepts:

?????o?????Take initial sketches, concepts, and designs from architects and translate them into precise, detailed technical drawings.

?????o?????Use CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) to produce accurate, buildable drawings and designs.

?????o?????Compliance and Technical Accuracy:

?????o?????Ensure that all drawings adhere to local building codes, regulations, and client specifications.

?????o?????Coordinate with other teams (engineering, structural, etc.) to integrate necessary information into the designs.

?????o?????Revision and Updates:

?????o?????Manage any revisions to drawings as requested by the architect, client, or local authorities.

?????o?????Implement any changes in a timely manner and ensure that the updated drawings are accurately reflected.

?????o?????Submission and Approval:

?????o?????Upload drawings and documentation to the designated project management systems or client portals.

?????o?????Work with project managers or document controllers to ensure that drawings are submitted for approval by clients, authorities, or regulatory bodies.

?????o?????Collaboration:

?????o?????Communicate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and accurate execution of design details.

?????o?????Participate in project meetings to discuss technical challenges and propose solutions.

?????o?????Quality Control:

?????o?????Perform checks on all drawings to ensure they meet internal quality standards.

?????o?????Maintain organized records of all project documentation, including revisions and approvals.

Skills and Qualifications:

?????o?????Technical Expertise: Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.), with a solid understanding of construction and architectural drawing techniques.

?????o?????Attention to Detail: Ability to spot and correct discrepancies or errors in design and documentation.

?????o?????Problem-Solving: Ability to collaborate with the team to resolve technical challenges and ensure project continuity.

?????o?????Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with architects, clients, and other stakeholders.

?????o?????Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and approval processes.

Experience and Education:

?????o?????Previous experience in a similar role (e.g., Design Technician, Architectural Technician, CAD Drafter) is usually required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,000.00-29,500.00 per year
